The Fastlane is Compass's dedicated lap pool — narrow footprint at 2.78m wide, uniform 1.46m depth from end to end, no step trays or benches to interrupt the swim path. Optional external steps can be positioned wherever suits the block. It's the shape we install for serious swimmers and families who want a proper lap pool across Central Queensland.
The Fastlane 10.3 gives you genuine lap distance in a suburban block. The 12.3 suits acreage properties where distance matters more. Custom shell-linked builds go up to a full 30m — proper swim distance for dedicated training or larger property installs. The narrow 2.78m footprint fits down the side of many CQ homes without eating into the main backyard.

The Fastlane in Central Queensland
The Fastlane is a specialist install — most CQ families don’t need a lap pool, but the ones who do are often surprised how well it fits down the side of their block without eating the yard. We’ve installed Fastlane 10.3 and 12.3 configurations for triathletes, ocean swimmers doing off-season training, and families where at least one member swims seriously.
The 12.3 is the most common configuration locally. Delivery access is usually the constraint rather than the finished footprint — a 12.3m shell needs careful path planning through most Rockhampton suburbs.
Popular Fastlane combos: with an integrated Compass spa at one end (swim then recover), with a swim-jet resistance system (turns it into an infinite lap pool), and partially above-ground on Yeppoon ridge sites where full in-ground would require significant cut-and-fill.

Can the Fastlane go down the side of my house?
